Convict Lake, USA.

In honour and memory of Matthew Eoff, for his beautiful wife and my friend Lee.

It's landscape term at school and I wanted to make something special for the Eoffs.

This photo was taken by their friend Kathie of their home in the USA, Convict Lake in Mammoth. It is my first oil landscape - made much easier with the picture perfect photo.

I know our snow travels will take us here one day.

Water has always been the most difficult to paint, I really need more practice (and professional lessons!) on the subject. More so understanding the mirror reflections and the under the surface rocks. This is all new to me.
